Drayson is a Creative Director, Brand Founder, and Visual Artist with over 20 years of experience contributing to the design industry. Conceptually strong with an eye for visual direction, he is a proven leader with a hands-on approach to generating concepts, directing teams, and executing end-to-end strategies.
In 2012, Drayson founded THAT DESIGN AGENCY (TADA*), crafting integrated campaigns, brand identities, and event visuals for local and regional clients. Across these projects, he consistently balances strategic project goals with engaging visual execution under tight timelines. Beyond client work, he mentors tertiary interns by involving them directly in live client briefs, sharing practical experience in real-world studio workflows and helping them build industry-ready portfolios.
In 2023, Drayson expanded his entrepreneurial journey into horology by founding UBIQ WATCHES. As the creative mind behind the Singapore microbrand, he manages total product execution, taking timepieces from early concepts and material selection to branding, packaging, and global marketing strategies. UBIQ successfully launched two watch models on Kickstarter, gaining strong support from international enthusiasts.
Earlier in his career, Drayson served as Head of Creative at LIFEBRANDZ, directing design and brand identity for a diverse portfolio of lifestyle and entertainment venues across Singapore and Asia. Managing a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, web developers, interior designers, video producers, and photographers, his work during this period provided Singapore’s club and nightlife scene with a vibrant, art-infused visual identity.
Alongside his commercial career, Drayson also explored personal art projects under the moniker VECTORSCUM. His style centers on cross-medium experimentation, spanning digital manipulation, painting, screen printing, laser etching, and sculpture. His work led to regional exhibition invitations, commercial art sales, and commissions from platforms including Yahoo!, Kult, TigerTranslate, Sciencewerk, and more.
Committed to fostering local creative talent, Drayson founded and curated SHAPESHIFTERS, an experiential platform bringing emerging artists to new and diverse audiences. He built upon this foundation with the SENSEI program, connecting aspiring young talents with established artists for hands-on mentorship through the preparation of a funded exhibition.
