I wrote a whole bunch of words such as “Singapore has always been like a sponge in terms of culture. Since our country was first founded as Singapura by Parameswara, we have been on the receiving end cultural influences externally. From Sir Stamford Raffles, China coolies, Japanese occupation to recent influxes of foreign talents… …”. But it was always about the money right? Right?
